Tenuta Giustini Qvid Primitivo 2022

A lovely bright style of primitivo. Good balance with delicate dark fruit notes, then a spice coming through and a very nice liquorice and tar coming off. Very good.  Giuseppe Papadopoli saw that wines from this part of the world were starting to be recognised for their quality in the early 1990s and in 2005, they launched their first wine. They operate a minimal intervention policy, and aim to show the variety in its purest form, capitalising on Puglia’s indigenous grapes.
