Newton Johnson Family Vineyards Chardonnay 2021

One of our first stops on our South African tour of 2017 and they don’t come much better than Newton Johnson. Located in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde region near Walker Bay. A wonderful tasting in the beautiful Newton Johnson cellar door with assistant winemaker Dean.

Five Stars Platter. A real powerhouse vintage with great energy and drive. Rich aromas of ripe lime and fresh spices, heightened with the austerity of crushed stones and a saline edge. A polished and luscious front palate that grips and lengthens long in to the finish.
