Ledaig 2008 – 12yo Hermitage Wine Finish Connoisseurs Choice – 45%

A 2008 Ledaig single malt from indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail that has been initially matured in refill sherry hogsheads and finished for three years in Hermitage casks before being bottled in October 2020. Aromas of summer berries and lemon zest fill the nose, wrapped in tendrils of sweet smoke. The palate offers notes of black pepper, raspberries, apple and soft smoke that linger in the finish.
