Charmes de Kirwan Margaux 2015 Magnum

The second wine by 3rd tier classified growth Chateau Kirwan. A blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. The wine spends 16 months in oak barrels from
France’s Allier, of which 15% are new barrels.

An intense nose blends notes of cherry and blackberry with subtle hints of chocolate. It is ample and unctuous in the mouth, with a distinct fleshy character. Understated tannins prolong the tasting experience while lending softness to the wine. Though drinking well now, it will age very well.
