Balblair 1999 (Bottled 2017) 3rd Release – 46%

A rare and sadly disconinued vintage release from Balblair.

The third release of Balblair’s 1999 vintage is a welcome one, as the highland Scotch whisky was aged in an interesting combination of American oak, ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish oak ex-sherry butts. It was bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV, with its natural colour and without chill filtration.
