It’s Monday evening and I wasn’t planning on having a glass of wine but there’s a bottle in the fridge I’ve been wanting to try again and it’s only 12% so what the hec. I was kind of expecting and hoping for something light, delicate, crisp and refreshing and that’s exactly what it delivers as I savour my first sip. It’s not long until my second sip as I salivate at even the mere thought. When a winemaker of talent such as the Canicatti winery puts all this together then excellent wine will follow. A firm, lovely soft flavour with tones of citrus. Full, rounded texture in the mouth that leaves a delicious crisp and long-lasting taste due to its flavour and freshness, this version of Inzolia gives substance to its abundant and distinct perfumes, which typify this native Sicilian variety. Mineral in content with an elegant structure which enhances a gift of un-parallel freshness.
