Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 – 46%

The 2023 release of Kilchoman’s Loch Gorm single malt is a vatting of oloroso sherry butts from 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. Sweet aromas of malt, cinnamon, raisins and citrus mingle with sooty peat on the nose. The palate offers notes of toffee, smoked meats and sherry-soaked fruit, developing into honey, orange peel and sea salt. The finish is full of barbecue smoke, dark chocolate and apples, pears, plums, raisins and lingering oak spice.
