Halloween is over and Christmas is not quite here yet, but Bonfire Night is tomorrow!
Whether you’re having a big bang of a party or just a little gathering, make sure your drinks are on fire with our suggestions!
The Sparkler
To start the night off try The Sparkler. It’s a sharp drink and a real cracking way to really get your party started!
For this you will need: Tequila, sparkling wine (we’d suggest Bortolomiol Prosecco Frizzante), raspberry liquor and lychee liquor.
Simply combine 30ml of Tequila, 150ml of lychee liquor and 150ml of raspberry liquor in the bottom of a champagne flute and top it off with sparkling wine for a superb way to kick your night off!
Fire Cracker
This simple-to-make drink will set the taste buds alight and get you in the mood for the fireworks show.
All you will need for this is: Vodka (go for Arbikie Potato Vodka), Blue Curacao and tonic.
Mix 60ml of vodka and 15ml of Blue Curacao with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass, add a splash of tonic and top off with a garnish of your choice, we suggest a cherry.
Roman Candle
A classic drink for a classic fireworks party! This drink is a good all-rounder and it’s super easy to make.
You will need: Vodka, cranberry juice, grenadine and Blue Curacao.
Again, you will need a cocktail shaker for this one. Combine 85ml of vodka, 15ml of cranberry juice and a splash of grenadine and shake with ice.
Strain into a chilled Martini glass. To finish off pour Blue Curacao gently down the side of the glass so it settles at the bottom to create a colourful creation and enjoy!
Burning Fawkes
For those of you who prefer a beer to a cocktail, but still want to add a bonfire night twist, this could be the one for you!
Please be warned that this drink does involve fire so this could be one for the start of the night rather than a clumsy finish!
You will need – beer or lager, Amaretto and Sambuca
To make this spectacular drink, take a shot glass and fill three-quarters full with Amaretto and top it up with Sambuca, place it to one side.
Take a pint glass and pour your chosen beer/lager into it. Now for the fun part! Set alight the shot glass with Amaretto and Sambuca in and drop into the pint glass. Be careful! Drink straight away for a fiery finish!
