GlenAllachie 10yo Cask Strength Batch 8 – 57.2%

The GlenAllachie Distillery has announced the launch of The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 8.

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 8 is a marriage of whiskies matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry puncheons, along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks, bottled un-chill filtered and with no added coloring at 57.2% ABV.

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 8 is described as having aromas of “mocha, nutmeg, walnut oil, heather honey, sweet raisins, and dried red berries.” The palate exhibits notes of “cinnamon spice, molasses, honeycomb, ginger, espresso, and dark chocolate,” concluding with “hints of nutmeg and fennel” on the finish.
